Walking Together is an annual celebration of what we, by the grace of God, accomplish together as the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. The 2009 service is based on 1 Corinthians 12, particularly verses 4-7. All of us with our particular God-given gifts have a role in the Church, the body of Christ, to show people God’s love.

Participation

WELS Ministry of Christian Giving has prepared worship and Bible study materials that churches can use to a hold a Walking Together worship service sometime between August and the end of the year. Instructions and materials for the Walking Together service were mailed to congregations in February. If you want to know whether your church will be holding a Walking Together service, please talk to the leadership of your church. If you are a church leader and you did not receive the package of materials or you cannot find the online resources for preparing your Walking Together service, please contact us and we will glady assist you.
