Humanitarian Aid Committee - Building Bridges for the Gospel in WELS World Mission Fields
Gifts promote humanitarian work in our various world mission fields, providing aid as a bridge to speaking the gospel of Christ. The Humanitarian Aid Committee works to show mercy to the needy around the world, with prayers and special gifts.
Please Note: WELS also has a charitable agency known as the WELS Relief. WELS Relief primarily reacts to disasters in the U.S. and the world as well as to requests for relief aid made by individuals and groups. This can include support for humanitarian aid programs and relief requests connected with our World Mission fields. The purpose of the Humanitarian Aid Fund of the Board for World Missions, on the other hand, is more ongoing and proactive as a bridge-building vehicle for mission outreach and Gospel ministry.
For the security of our missionary families, national workers, and those we are reaching with the Gospel, the Board for World Missions has chosen NOT to post information about select mission fields. The public posting of such material could endanger the people or the work being done.
