Mission Partners
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident in this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
- Paul in a letter to his "mission partners" in Philippi
Overview
Mission Partners is a synod program to promote partnership between WELS mission fields and members. Members (individually or through a church or group) formally commit to supporting a mission field and do all they can to contribute to the success of that field - pray, encourage, and give offerings to WELS to help support the field. A contact person in the mission field provides regular ministry updates to these special "stakeholders" of the mission. The result is a joy-filled "partnership in the gospel."
