File CollectionTLHA: Senior spelling bee

Spelling to keep minds young

Watertown, WI--Heritage Homes announces the winners of its first-ever Senior Spelling Bee, held October 23, 2009. Shown with their prizes are (L-R) first place winner Virginia Hohenstein, second place winner Gene Kirst, and third place winner Lorraine Heideman. Congratulations to these fine spellers!

The spelling bee was initiated to promote brain fitness. Such fitness exercises are seen as a way to delay memory loss and slow the natural effects of aging.
