Christian Giving through Prayer
Monetary gifts are just one way in which we support the Christian mission of WELS. Prayer is an essential tool. Jesus taught in Mark 11:24: "Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours."
WELS Ministry of Christian Giving puts together a monthly prayer calendar that uses requests from people leading WELS efforts around the world. To subscribe, simply enter your e-mail address in the "subscribe" box located at the top right of your computer screen or see the instructions at the bottom of this Web page.
Nearly 250 calendars are distributed to churches and individuals eager to go to God for guidance as we work together to reach out to the world. May God hear our prayers and bless our efforts!
Suggested Use
Print off a copy of the prayer calendar, fold it, and use as a bookmark in your Bible or devotional book. When you pray, check the calendar and include the prayer for WELS ministry specified for the day.
