Welcome to the informational page for the WELS Commission on Inter-Church Relations (CICR).

If you're looking for something specific, we hope you find it. If you're merely browsing, we hope you enjoy the time spent here. CICR's primary focus is on our relations with Christian church bodies and professing Christians outside of WELS. We currently enjoy unity in doctrine and practice with a number of other church bodies, and you can find those listed here. We seek to clarify what we mean by correct doctrine and practice, so you can find links to creedal and doctrinal statements and a library that contains many doctrinal essays prepared for on-line viewing.
